The BSW degree programs are offered in various modes of learning such as distance mode, regular education, or online. Usually, the fees at regular universities for BSW courses are higher than online or distance-learning universities.

Eligibility Criteria: 12th grade from any stream is the minimum requirement to get admission to the BSW program. The minimum required mark for admission to the Social Work Foundation course is 35%. Some universities allow admission to BSW degree programs at 40 to 55 percent marks. 

Entrance Examinations:  To get admission into the regular BSW, you usually have to pass a common entrance exam. Some of the entrance exams for BSW courses are Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam, CUET UG, TISS NET, BHU UET, and others at the university or state/national level.

Job Profile and Salary: Candidates can proceed to work in the following professional options, such as Labor Welfare Specialist, Social Worker, Teacher, Lecturer, Campaigner, NGO Officer, Trainee Officer, Criminology Specialist, etc. A beginner degree in a profession based on BSW can earn between 1.6 to 2.4 LPA.
